Committees

In a senior housing cooperative, committees exist for various reasons.  Here are three:

1. Assist management by studying options on a given topic and providing information and recommendations to the Board. 
2. Assist management by making decisions based on policy and previous precedent (e.g. Inspection Committee inspects units that are for sale).
3. Collaborate with neighbors to organize special events, such as annual spaghetti supper, annual Chinese dinner, annual dinner that follows the election of board members...we like to eat.

• Administrative

• Policy & Procedures

Property:

• Outdoor Property & Beautification
• Interior Design
• Internal Inspection (when ownership of apartments is being transferred)

Activities:

• Special Events, Meals & Programs
• Blood Pressure & Health
• Library & Computer Center
• Fitness Center
